Change of Leadership

As of Monday 20th September, Alan Fletcher stepped down as Chair, handing over the leadership of the Board to current director Howard Sidney-Wilmot. After more than four years in charge Alan said 'It has been an honour and a privilege to Chair the club over what have proved to be challenging times for the club and all our members and supporters. I am delighted to hand over to Howard who I am confident will continue to successfully steer the club forward with the support of the board, staff and members.' 

 

Howard joined the club in 1987 and has played for all senior teams including captaining the 1st XI in 1994, as well as managing several junior teams. Commenting on his recent appointment Howard said 'I'm delighted to become Chairman and grateful to be given the opportunity to help shape South North's future direction. I hope to engage with all members over the coming months but can confirm our aim to provide first class cricketing facilities and a supportive, friendly, competitive playing environment for members of all levels of ability, remains as strong as ever. We will continue to encourage and help members reach their playing potential, as well as further develop Women's cricket at South North.'
